This video discusses the unique complications of Boston Keratoprothesis. This is a technique that can restore vision to certain patients who were blind before. Due to the unique interface between artificial and biologic material that we see in this technique poses several complications that have to be dealt with.

This video demonstrates some of these complications as the patient, with Stevens-Johnson syndrome, developed corneal melting with perforation, immune vitritis and a large epimacular membrane during follow-up.
